DELIVERY & RETURNS

Delivery

After you place an order, you'll receive a confirmation email from us. We'll then process and despatch your order within 3-5 business days (quicker if we can). If you have questions about your order, please contact us on orders@fableliving.co.uk quoting your order number, name and delivery post code and we'll come back to you as soon as we can. 

 

We try to be as sustainable as possible in all aspects of Fable Living, and that includes how we send our products to you. Wherever possible, we use recyclable and recycled materials to package our items. We sometimes use bubble-wrap to protect fragile products in transit. But if we do, we only ever re-use material we've been donated, or try to source non-plastic alternatives.

General returns

We hope that you're happy with the products you buy from us. If you do need to return something for any reason, please let us know via email before you send it back (returns@fableliving.co.uk)
Items must be returned to us within 30 days of delivery of item. Please be aware that we won’t be able to refund the original cost of shipping unless you notify us within 14 days of receipt of item.

 

Items must be returned with completed return slip and in original, unused condition and in their original packaging. It is your responsibility to package items properly for shipping. Items which arrive back broken due to inadequate packaging will not be refunded. 

 

The cost of returning items to us if your responsibility unless otherwise agreed. We recommend getting a receipt for postage and using a service that covers the value of the item as we cannot be responsible for damage or loss during transit.

Your refund will be processed within 14 days of receipt of returned goods, and after we have verified their condition.

We will confirm the return address to you via email. 

 

Personalised/bespoke items, and gift vouchers are non-refundable. Perishable items (including food, some cosmetic products and magazines are also non-refundable).

 

We do not offer general product exchanges unless otherwise agreed or if in relation to replacing a damaged or defective item, as detailed below.

Return of damaged or defective goods

Further to above returns policy, below details what to do if you need to return a damaged or defective item. 

If you notice a problem with the product you receive from us on arrival, please let us know as soon as possible so we can resolve the issue for you. The best way to contact us is via email (returns@fableliving.co.uk). You must notify us within 30 days, otherwise we may not be able to process the return for you.
We may require you to send us photos of the item so we can verify the condition. If you are unable  to do this, we will require you return the damaged or defective item to us for us to review before we can process the return and any subsequent exchange or refund.

Once we have verified the issue with the item, we will contact you to discuss a solution that suits you. In the first instance we will wherever possible, provide you with a replacement item that matches the original purchase item. If this is not possible, for example due to lack of stock, we may offer you a similar item (such as an alternative colour). If we cannot provide a suitable alternative, we will then offer you a refund for the cost of the item. Unfortunately we won’t be able to refund the original cost of shipping unless you notify us within 14 days of receipt of item.

In most instances, we will require damaged or defective items to be returned to us. For this we will provide you with a pre-paid postage method. If you send us the items without letting us know or agreeing the postage method, we cannot cover the cost of the shipping. 

 

Items must be returned in their original, unused condition and in their original packaging, including items being returned because they are damaged or defective. Items not returned in their original packaging will not be refunded unless otherwise agreed. Exchanges or refunds for items where the condition still needs to be verified will not be processed if they are not returned in all original packaging and in the condition in which they were delivered to you. It is your responsibility to package items properly for shipping. Items which arrive back broken due to inadequate packaging will not be refunded or exchanged.
